With a diverse range of interests and an abundant curiosity, Na'imah is constantly exploring the world through social and creative vehicles.

Her projects so far fuse a love of art, history and cultural studies. The DAHMGirl series on Instagram and Anchor educates audiences on the history of art in a country currently impacted by conflict, political violence, extreme poverty or devastation. The series aims to both celebrate the cultural, creative and spiritual resilience of people's from developing nations as well as decolonising our concept of 'relevant' art and the elitism of 'high culture', produced by Western-European ethnocentrism.

Na'imah believes in people-of-colour and working-class communities defining themselves, telling their own stories and having ownership of their own representation regardless of efforts to subvert, subjugate and misrepresent. In her research, Na'imah makes an earnest effort to amplify the voices of members from the communities she features, however her hope in expanding would be to gain first-hand interviews with individuals impacted by her topics and active participants of the arts. Na'imah wishes to network and is always excited at the prospect of collaboration.

Decolonising Art History Monthly is an Instagram blog and creative project in development, inspired by the lack of positive cultural representation of countries experiencing conflict, particularly in Asia and Africa. This project enables me to demonstrate my passion for art, research, culture and social change. I use Canva to present my information.
